Atlas F
Missile Silo - Antenna Silo
The antenna silo is a separate structure located north
of the entry way. It was part of an upgrade
made to all Atlas E and Atlas F sites in the spring and summer of 1963.
This structure has electrical
and security system capabilities in place. The wooden hatch covers
seen in the photos below are
temporary and were put in place for safety reasons. Original steel
hatch covers are currently being
obtained and will be reconditioned and installed when available.
