Missile Silo - Chain Link Fence
The original chain-link fence is still in place at this
site. This is a 7-foot high military grade fence with
three strands of barbed wire on angle posts at the top. I-beam style
uprights were used instead of round
pipe. The original rolling gate has been damaged and was converted
to a two piece swinging gate. An
original rolling gate has been located at another site and and will be
installed in the near future. The
current replacement cost estimate on this type and length of fence is over
$35,000.
