Missile Silo - Electrical Service
The current electrical service is a standard 120/240
Volt single phase system. The original poles and
3-phase 4-wire wiring is still in place and could be reactivated if
necessary. A fourth copper cable is
in place from the transformer pole into the LCC for use in upgrading the
underground electrical service
to 3-phase should the need arise. Three-phase electrical service
could be obtained by upgrading
the electrical panel in the LCC and installing 3-phase transformers at the
pole.
